Welcome to the Terrific and Terrible 2's...

It's true, she's 2!...
WARNING:
lots of pictures to follow!

She LOVES dogs!
Yellowstone

Nana, trying her hardest to get her to behave,
 before he life ends prematurely!
"Here kitty, Jack!!!"

First pigtails

Curler Cutie

Mischievous!

And, she's a diva!

Her "bestie" Adi.

Always dressing up.

At her sweetest!

Best Friends

I can't believe she's two, wait, yes I can her attitude is a constant reminder!
She's either singing or screaming with no in-between!
Her least favorite thing, next to brushing her teeth, is wearing shoes.  Every day it is a constant battle to figure out what shoes she will tolerate!
Little Miss Rosie is OBSESSED with princesses.
(The coming princess post will be the evidence!)
She loves dressing up and looking pretty.
She LOVES her belly button.
She is learning to say the prayer by herself, if she can stay focused long enough.
She loves to run and jump.
She has the craziest stick straight hair, most of the time she looks like a little orphan:)
She loves her big brother, even though she picks on him!
Besides the screaming, hitting, biting, not wearing shoes or going to bed,
she's an angel!
We love having her as a part of our family.  She doesn't know that she is our entertainment most of the time, because she is so expressive!
I'm sure she is going to become a famous entertainer of some sort!
All jokes aside, we are so thankful for the void she fills.  We learn so much daily from her and she makes us happy!
Wish us luck in surviving the coming year!

Montana Minutes

Welcome to Montana
Here's a little bit of what we've been up to.
Cruz is always willing to strike a pose.
And Rosie is always putting somebody else's clothes on.
Cruz is getting ready to start his new preschool next week...he is so excited!  So, everyday we've been working on writing some letters.  It's seriously one of his favorite things to do.
While Rosie is napping this is where I usually end up.  Sometimes I can coax Cruz to come out with me.

Yes, it's my lipstick.  Rosie thought it looked like fun.  I think every little girl has to have a picture like this one.  Her skin was stained from it for 2 days.
One weekend we were able to hit up the fair.  Cruz is a BIG fan!
Rosie gets super serious (as you can tell) she is either waving her parade wave or stone faced.
Road trip to see Grandma and Grandpa-Great!
This is Cruz taking his nap...yeah right!
Of course Rosie was asleep as soon as we hit the road.
Grandma and Grandpa totally spoiled them.  Cruz drove the tractor with Rosie as a his passenger.
And as usual Grandma and Grandpa-great spoiled us all Rotten.
While eating an ice cream cone, Grandpa-great would put chocolate syrup on after each bite.
To say the least, the kids were HYPER on the way home!
Yep, that's Rosie, and No she isn't wearing any pants or diaper.
Our workout routine has been a little soccer.  We play soccer while the kids dig in the dirt.
Unfortunately, Rosie's diaper didn't get changed before we left (I know terrible) and she was soaked by the time we were done.  She got to know the true meaning of feeling the breeze on the way home.
Cruz thinks he is getting pretty tough, and Rosie would like to agree. Every time I turn around she is holding on to him like a leach and he is trying to carry her around as they both grin from ear to ear.
Life on the lake is pretty nice.  We get in our swimsuits just about every day.  Usually the kids are pretty on board.  Cruz gets tired of me though and goes inside and gets dressed so I won't MAKE him swim.
As you can tell they are the best of friends.  Cruz is the best, most patient big brother ever!
Rosie isn't always the nicest sister and he is still so sweet and kind to her.
In fact, Taylor said we should have named her "Lucy" short for Lucifer.  That's how sweet she's been...but we're working on it!

 Too. Much. Sun.

 Ya gotta love her outfits.
I told you...they are always doing this.  Isn't it so cute?
Oh, and we can't forget the whole reason we're here.  Daddy will be finishing his Pediatric rotation next week and we will be heading over to our next destination.
He just shaved his beard last week...soft as a babies bottom!

Despite missing our friends in Tennessee and the busy schedule we had there, we have been loving the sunshine here at the Lake.
As I mentioned earlier Cruz will be starting preschool next week, so life will be getting a little busier.  We drove by an elementary school yesterday and Cruz said,
"Everyone's started school but me."  In the saddest, most pitiful way.
I am excited for him to have some interacting with little kids his own way.  Needless to say, we haven't met any "quality" friends at McDonald's.
Before we know it we will be moving somewhere for a job, so right now we're just trying to enjoy life and live it up while we can!

Love, the Lies Parade
